His career spans more than two decades, combining Academia and Industry. Before joining Notre Dame, he was a Senior structural bridge engineer at Kiewit. He is the Engineer of Record and has been involved in building more than a million square feet of bridge superstructure and several concrete and steel building structures.
He has designed structures and consulting experience in the United States, Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Panama, and Venezuela. He has served as a consultant for the InterAmerican Development Bank and the United Nations programs for Renewable Energy and Infrastructure.
