Professional Engineering Services 

In most cases, hourly rates apply for all professional engineering services except testimony (evaluated on a case-by-case basis), including, but not limited to, investigation and research, document review, site inspection, meetings, and travel time (portal-to-portal with no mileage charges).

For designs and retrofit projects, a lump sum generally applies. 

Direct Expenses 

For travel-related costs (lodging, food, car rental, airfare, parking, taxi, shuttle, etc.), photocopies, blueprints, CAD drawings, shipping, and direct office supplies (binders, photo display sheets, tabs, etc.).
